aaaaahhhhhh! (obviously a rant) lol
I've been at work for almost 13 hours, interviewed 11 people who are totally unqualified for the job and obviously lied on their resumes (4 more to go), stubbed the same toe twice, had a guy ask me if he could put it in my butt, spilled coffee inside of my shoe and tore a hole in my favorite sweater. To top it all off, I've been switching back and forth btwn water and coffee all day -aka pissing like a racehorse- and we're out of toilet paper. I guess I'll just have to ration the 2 Starbucks napkins I found in my purse...
Anyway, that sums up my day. How's yours been?
What's the job, I need one! :)
I'll probably get fired for telling you this, but "we" only want men... : (
What are you looking for, though? I might know of something...
LMAO! I know it's not funny, but it just reminds me of a book I loved as a child- I think it was called "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No-Good, Very Bad Day" and dealt with real-life issues such as this. =)
On a side note, I feel your pain with the interviewing. I do that for a living, and I also have to check quality control by reading the interview notes for everyone that gets hired at my bureau (to check for discrimination in the hiring process). It can get so tedious!
Hope you have a better day tomorrow!

Well...if the people coming for interview are doing these things...
had a guy ask me if he could put it in my butt
It makes you wonder! o.O
I work for a security company and we need two new guards for our pickiest client. The process has been long and frustrating and has gone nowhere.

I had that book! And the video... But I never liked it, because I wanted a fairytale happy ending at the end and there was none! haha.
Hope tomorrow is better for you... Hell, at this rate it has to be right? :)
Sounds like a pretty stange interview process!
I guess if I knew I wasn't going to get the job anyway I could ask the interviewer an off the wall question! LOL
If I were you I'd be thankful for those minor issues. Not to minimize them, but take a look at others' lives. For instance, I am going for a skin cancer screening next week, my ex manipulated my whole inheritance, including a mortgage to me in the sum of $90,000 and the home I grew up in. I have a horrible home life, fighting the government in two court cases which is costing thousands of dollars, the loss of both parents recently six months apart, a stepson who prefers to call me an effing c*** who is also flunking right out of high school and is stealing from me to get his drugs, and one person working out of three which nowhere meets our minimum household monthly payments. The home I live in has no walls whatsoever and there isn't a damned thing I can do about it under my circumstances. I could go on infinitely.
So if you think your problems are bad, take a look around you and be grateful that some things are only temporary. You should also be very glad to be employed considering the state of economics.
I know that you're just ranting, but try to put your little mishaps in a different prospective. Be glad you're healthy and if that's all you're really upset about, then you should be glad.
Notwithstanding the above, I do hope your day gets better....

That sucks. Really. But I try not to live my life comparing it to everyone else's. The fact that you're going through all of that is awful. I would never wish it on anyone and am more than gateful not to be in such a situation. All that being said, it didn't make my day any better. All of those things still happened and it still sucked. Also, I know when I go into forums I don't read every single post, so I don't expect that everyone else does. If you, however had read each post, you would've seen this one:
...despite these awful isolated incidents, i'm actually having a pretty good day. Though I do hope tomorrw's better. lol
Awww, I didn't mean to pick on you. I'm having a bad day too. I hope you have good luck and find the perfect candidate for that position...(And yes, I'm guilty of not reading all the posts!) Enjoy the rest of the weekend! :-)
