No dont worry, first you will lose alot of weight then it will slow down.

At least that whats happened to me.

I have lost 6 kg in one week , but now I dont seem to lose anymore even though I stick to my diet and exersizing.
it's not unusual to drop some pounds quickly at first.  This is mostly retained water.  Your weight loss will level off after a while.

hockeyreading, the quick weight loss is not a bad thing if you are getting a good, nutritious diet.  As each of the previous posters said, initially you can have a quick weight loss and then it slows down.  You may also experience a more rapid weight loss at various stages along the way -- sometimes the body just gets a mind to start burning fat.  Just count your blessings . . .

I guess I've been eating better this week: w the exception of Monday, I didn't buy any junk food in the cafeteria (where i unfortunately have 2 classes  that we can buy food in)[ because 1% chocolate milk doesnt really count, right?], and i only had one snack after school. Also, when i felt hungry even though i wasn't , i just opened a bag of carrots and filled a bowl and went away from the kitchen.

Why on earth are u dieting at 13???????
I'm trying to lose weight so that i can be healthier and actually pass the part of the fitness test for BMI.
