ABC's LOST...is anybody lost for real?

Quote  |  Reply

I've been a big fan for a long time and I've watched every season faithfully, but this season...I'm freakin' lost!! It's like they are all over the place. I know a few people that can't keep up and it's causing us to not really care to watch it. I don't know. How does everyone else feel about this show this season. I still love it but like I said I'm literally LOST! Maybe that's what the writers want! LOL!

I am a huge fan of Lost and I kind of feel the same way. I think part of it has to do with the strike earlier this year. It put a hold on the show and the network also seems to show it one week then not the next. So you have had a lot of time to forget all that has happened and trying to catch up is just way overwhelming. I have noticed it does jump from past to present and future with out even letting you know. Then you have to figure out where it all fits in. Very hard to follow this season, I am just as frustrated as you. I was just hoping it was just me.

I'm actually not all the lost while watching it. There are sound cues depending on whether it's a flash back or a flash forward and I love that the show keeps me guessing.

This whole season has really been crammed into almost half the episodes that it was supposed to be. I read a few interviews with the producers who said it might confuse people because of the barrage of information, but otherwise people would have felt jipped at the pace they were going to go. They really needed to prepare for the 5th season next year.

I like it either way.

I'm really enjoying this season because there is so much not answered and it actually makes you think a bit.  I'm not too lost...just really curious!

I miss the show sometimes because I dont' have Tivo or anything like that, so I read the episode guides on this website: http://lost.about.com/od/episoderecaps/Lost_E pisode_Guides.htm

It's by the script and it tells you if the scene is a flashfoward/back by being in italics.  There are links with pictures and information about all the characters, no matter how significant they are (or seem to be!).

Maybe this will help with some of your confusion...or just fill your brain up with even more Lost stuff!

I love the show too, but this season is all over the place for me.  It is also getting confusing or is it frustrationI am feeling.  I don't know.  I am not giving up on it yet.  I have too much couch potato time invested in this show.  I will keep that website for future missed shows.

Isn't tonight the first part of the season's finally? Scary. I heard that the finally will be 3 hours long 1 hour tonight and 2 hours the next time it shows.  Are they skipping a week?

You can also catch up on all the episodes at abc.com. I don't have even basic cable, so that's how I watch it every week. =)

I also watch it online at abc.com.

OK, so why doesn't Richard ever get older.  Charles Whitmore was an other?

(Yes, I dig up an old thread.)

yes its a bit confusing but the whole time warp thing makes it interesting... especially to find that charles widmore was an other!!! i just forgot, what ever happened to richard alpert? i hope that penny and desmond arent separated again!

Yeah Charles Widmore being an other is quite the twist!

My boyfriend and I always argue if Richard just naturally looks like he's wearing exsessive amounts of eyeliner. Maybe that's what keeps him from aging! Magical eyeliner.
