Abductor Longus (Groin) Pain
For almost two months now I've had a sharp pain in this muscle. I don't know how or when I did it; it was not during exercising. It's painful to stand up or if I turn wrong. I can walk just fine with very little pain. I can't cross my legs to put socks on and it's difficult to put pants on because of the pain. My question is, do any of you fitness experts have any thoughts on an exercise(s) I could do, or even if I SHOULD exercise. I was thinking of stretching exercise, but don't want to aggravate it.
I did Google it and found out the name of the muscle that's sore, but really couldn't come up with any answers as far as a solution.
I don't know if this helps any, but I'm 63, about 5'5", and weigh 228 (down from 307).
Thanks for any suggestions you might have.
