abortion. agree, disgree?
what are all your views?
i personally believe a person should only have an abortion in the case that the mother may die due to complications.
i just dont understand how people say it's not baby. then WHAT is it?
i believe if you were old enough to have sex, then your old enought to deal with the consequences, either good or bad

Deal with the consequences good or bad... define that. Is abortion itself not a possible consequence?
no its an option a consequence would be pregnancy, STDs etc...

take a pregnacny full term is an "option" ...isn't it?
no its a natural consequence
which is good &bad in some cases (married couple vs. teen parents)
abortion is an option to deal with your consequences
lets say that the consequences are just what "nature" intends. not with the help of medicine stepping in
Just out of curiosity if someone had a failing kidney and then without your permision hooked themselves up to your body would you be okay with this? Sustaining their life?
well... by having sex, you already gave permission. sex=baby (sometimes) so if i had sex, yes it would be okay. ALL decisions have consequences you have to accept that. not just mess up & have things forgiven &taken care off. its the real world hun.
I wish that more women would choose the option of life for their unborn child ... and consider placing their babies up for adoption.
To me, a PICTURE is worth a thousand words.

You ignored my idea... would you be okay with that? If oyu say no, then you have to also add in the case of rape abortion doesnt bother you.
oh rape abortion is another thing... im completely neutral on that. but im talking about consensual sex...
I had a pregnancy scare a while back and the final day of when my period should've ended, and it still didn't come, I bought a bottle of vodka, drank the whole thing, and then went out and bought a pregnancy test the next day. I don't want a child. I have sex. I have sex because it helps me to express my physical attraction and love for Alex. I share everything with Alex, including my body. But Farmer Bob can keep his seed to himself for the time being. This field ain't ready for sowing.
I do not want a child right now. I can't care for a child right now. I refuse to bring a baby into this world that I can't promise I'll love and cherish and be able to support physically, emotionally, and financially. I'm not going to prolong my sex life until I have a job again just to ensure a financial burden doesn't come about. We're careful. We do what's necessary, within our limitations, to not have a baby.
If an accident happens, I'm sorry to whoever offends but it's MY body. If I don't want a baby in it, then it's coming out. I don't see a reason to have a baby that I won't love. Sure, someone else may love and adore it, but that someone else can go down to Children's Service and see how many kids are desperately seeking a loving foster parent, or check your local adoption agency for a kid.
But oh, you want a baby? So you can grow up with it and cherish every coo and gurgle, something an older child may not necessarily be able to do? That's a little selfish now, isn't it? I'll thank you guys for not calling me selfish if that's the case.
but i didnt make the OP talking about rape.... like i said im neutral on it. i try to put myself in a rape victims shoes... itd be so incredibly tough to have to bear the child of your attacker. but then again its not the babys fault. you could just give it up for adoption. idk... i really dont know.
i meant talk about consensual sex in this thread
What makes a person a person (beyond just a mass of bone and flesh)?
The key difference is the ability to think and be aware. Its sentience that gives us more percieved importance then a cow (even though our bodies are made out of much the same material). The mind is the key issue, a fetus that has not developed a mind is NOT a PERSON (simply a mass of flesh and bone).
But then comes the arguments of "potential human" .... but thats just a breakdown in understanding of time. Without getting too complicated....lets just say you cant lose what you never had....
Every time you have a period you allowed a potential human to die....you could have turned that into a person.... but you didnt...you simply let it die. Same argument, its simply overlooked because people dont care to think about it. Again, cant lose what you never had...."potential" is not the same as what already exists.
Will I lose weight if I eat the same food over and over?
You can lose weight despite eating the same food day-after-day as long as you eat fewer calories than you burn. In fact, eating the... Read more
