I have just read this Abs Diet (for women) magazine and it sounds very interesting. I was wondering if anyone has tried it? I also don't like the meals that they give you so how would I saftely replace those?

I have it ... the Abs Diet is just like South Beach 2nd Phase - WW Core - they all focus on the same stuff - lean meats, veggies, fruits - no processed foods etc.
I think its a good plan - they all are. The Abs part is about kicking sugar out of your diet to shrink your belly. I tried doing it and sometimes go back to it - but never had any luck with it. Although, I've never really had much success with any diet. LOL!

I LOVE their workout plan, not sure about their diet plan. Smoothie is one of their fav. I can't drink it that much as it would consume so many cals that I really need from solid food.
I also read the fat flush diet, it is good, has some good info and ideas like adding unsweetened cran juice to water and drink it everyday. They say it is healthy, don't know why:) also they suppport the use of flaxseed. Bottom line, read as many books as you want, pick the one the works better for you. Main key: exercise and eat healthy in moderation:) good luck.

I'm in week 2 of it. I really like it so far. I wouldn't compare it to south beach diet at all. It's just a sensible way of eating and you combine workout with it. I read the original one and it just doesn't add the info about osteop., post PPD, etc....
The purpose of the smoothies is to add the calories you need IF you are doing the work out. I am doing the 6 day a week workout. I do not do all the recipies in the book. But when I cook stuff I try to stay close. I substitute other healthy foods in place, and try to keep the portions exact.
Add me to you friends and if you need support let me know.
Yes, the workout plan is awesome. I got the DVD from the library to check it out. I was doing it from the book originally. I believe I'm going to burn (buy) the DVDs.
