what was your accomplishment today?
For me at this point even the slightest accomplishment is a huge step in the right direction... so for today I passed up a Pepperidge Farm Key Lime cake! Well it was a mini accomplishment 'cause I did lick my finger after I served it to my kiddos but I did NOT take a bite or piece or eat the balance of the little bit that was left! Along with that, when I opened up our baggie/ saran wrap drawer the oreos & kudos stared at me & I stared back but did not touch them! Instead I poured a mug of tomato soup to hold me over until dinner! whoohoo
I passed over strawberry cheesecake in the employee cafeteria. I ate the strawberry though...
I ran for 2, 10 minute stretches with just a couple of mins walking in between :) And it felt GOOOD!
great accomplishment - remember each trade off is worth so much more in the end - your health & well-being! Keep it up jigglethehandle!
super intervals meima - keep it up & you'll be doing more of those in no time!
I joined this site today. I made a meal plan for the day. I exercised in the morning. not much else. should probably cleaning the house!
CONGRATS on joining - that is a HUGE step in the right direction!
Your accomplishment of the "meal plan for the day" I think is the best way to stay on track. My days are much better when they are planned out right through to bedtime!
today's accomplishment's - passing up my kid's junk food drawer & an open box of croissants along with staying within my calorie goal for the day (which has been a bit troublesome lately)!
I got back on track after vacation, and I don't feel at all bad about the horribly wonderful time I had.
I kept from hitting an idiotic co-worker with a coffee pot who was trying to throw me under the bus showing off for a new boss.
I did some major weight training today! FINALLY! ... Now if I could just keep it up.
Oh! I passed the stupid cinnamon buns that were being handed out... for free!
AND! I cracked open my textbook!!!!!!! Now I just have to read it. *Shifty eyes*
I made a hot dog, and fries for dinner and stayed in my calorie allowance :)
see now.. that slinging coffee pot for me would have been "what can I eat that will make this bad feeling go away" so if you avoided stressful eating due to that co-worker moment -that would've been a huge accomplishment LOL
Last night (my wooorst time of day) I had a pink grapefruit while my hubby ate a HUGE bowl of chocolate marshmallow ice cream!
My woo hoo for today is that I went from being classified as severly obese to severely overweight! I had the word obese because I dont think of myself that way so when i entered my info and it didnt say that I did a happy dance!![]()
so today could've been a disaster... was up from 12 -3 am waiting for my teenager son to get home, ate chips & guacamole, few pieces of 70% dark chocolate & canteloupe then decided to not keep it going through the whole day....slept a little later so skipped breakfast (that's pretty much what I ate waiting for the teenybopper to bop in!), had a huge spinach salad for lunch & having something decent for dinner --- in the past I'd just say oh well this weekend/ or day is blown might as well eat whatever & not count anymore that day or weekend so my accomplishment today was to do a complete u-turn and get back on track right away!
great job on everyone else's little accomplishments - after awhile they add up to alot especially when they become automatic!
I went for a walk, and I have a deficit today!
Hm, what did I accomplish today... Well I worked out, ate delicious food, actually worked on my English Paper (boy was that tough - and still not done yet!)... Watched the snow fall... Disappointed my sister and managed not to throw up (I was nauseous all last night & most of today)!
I ate several pieces of chocolate and did a short work out. Not too long but I did 2 sets of push ups and 3 of jumping jacks. Big deal for me. I hate those!
Today was the first day I had the chance to get outside for some exercise (as I was sick most of last week). I went for a 6.4km jog, only walking 2 minutes of it at the turnaround point! yay! :)
Another hurdle I just made it over- not one but 2 of my kids came to me separately looking for a Chips Ahoy cookie. The first time I was sorely tempted to have one but instead got one for my son and asked him to put the package away. When my daughter came around 5 minutes later, I was able to resist again!
I hit the gym and cooked dinner for the first time in like a week!!
I finally broke my little plateau, and have officially lost 12 pounds total.
I didn't order any food from taco bell when I ran to get my manager something for him. He even offered to pay!!!!
i broke 140 (again, and for good this time!) and ran just short of 5k.
I ran my mile in 11:44 :D
