Hey everyone!
I'm doing pretty good this week. Ill send my stats later tonight after I go to the gym. I have been focusing on toning this past week and WOW am I sore!!!!
I slipped a little on my diet by eating a whole bag of these trail mix crunch things they sell at the store that are chuncks of almonds, cashews, and pistachios. They are heaven! It could have been worse and been a whole pint of ice cream!

Hey There!
Had a great weekend - no official exercise on Sunday, but due to the sweltering heat I did manage to drink a ton of water throughout both Saturday and Sunday.
Did my 8 mile run today - thank God, got the 'long' run out of the way early in the week. My knees have been bugging me lately, so I took 4 days off from running (just doing the elliptical trainer for cardio instead). Today was my first day back on the treadmill and although the run was tough, it felt pretty good.
Ate a ton this weekend...oh well, it was mostly good stuff (apart from the big scoop of Rocky Road I had on Saturday night).....
Don't have access to Internet from home, so I've just e-mailed my weekend stats for the Slimming Minis to coco today.
Happy Monday :)

hello all, happy monday. I had the question posed to me what kind of exercise counts as workouts and the answer is only structured workouts. Swimming lapse is okay but not leisure swimming. also gardening and yard work doesn't count and unfortunatly I can't count spring cleaning, although I'm sure it was a workout if it was anything like mine.
Tuesday's Challenge is anything to do with a tricept workout. still working on those summer arms.

okay, guys you need to let me know if you feel like some points are incorrect. don't wait until the end and I am keeping copies of all the emails but Hey, I'm only human and I am not without my moments, please just drop me a line and I will research it out and fix it.
thanks minis and don't forget the challenge.
thanks minis and don't forget the challenge.
06/04/07 - 72 oz water, 45 min swimming laps.
6/4/07: I did 15 minutes of triceps lifts, 3L (12 x 8oz) of water. The water was tough for me to put back today I have to admit. Had to drink a liter just now to make it to my 3L mark for the day.
6/4/07:
82 minutes running (8 miles - wohoo!!!)
40 oz. of water
I'm thinking about running a half marathon in the Fall - I haven't signed up for anything official yet, and am still quite a ways from being able to run the 13.1 miles. The longest I've been able to get to is 9.5 miles - but that was a couple of weeks ago, and I haven't been able to run that distance again. I did 8 yesterday - and was completely wiped. I suppose I could have gotten to 9.5 if I did the run/walk combo - but I really only count mileage according to how long I ran without stopping.....

I haven't been thinking about points coco...I have gained 2#, over the binging last week...holiday and just being deprssed. I have been having much pain and unable to move at all...So maybe it wi better to take me out of it for now. Maybe next month when I can get into the pool...
At least then I would have some activity that would be worth trying to work through this.
I am glad everyone is doing such a good job.
Talk again.
Keep it up all.

sandybreanna - please don't give up, and don't be too depressed about a couple of pounds. I'm not sure what your problems are, but can you walk? Maybe a gentle walk for ten minutes around the block would get you out, having fresh air, and light exercise. It woud do your emotional state a world of good, as well as your physical...
Whatever happens, just hang in there, and never give up on yourself. You will make it, even it it takes a little longer.
coco - you haven't updated my points from Saturday, Sunday and Monday. I emailed them to your c-c mailbox... just letting you know!!

Eek! Today was not a very point-filled day for me. I had to pick a family member up at the airport yesterday, drive them around to do errands today, and then drive them over 300 miles home (where I am staying for the next couple of days, which are also going to be tough).
I didn't even drink a lot, because last time I drank a lot before a long car trip I had to stop 5 times on a 3-hour trip! So ... everything's out of whack today, but no matter. Tomorrow I will make up some points!!!! So watch out amaxpo and angelab!
And the rest of you ... just a couple of days can make a huge difference in points ... so keep on trucking!

06/05/07 stats:
Exercise: 75 minutes

How do you all drink so much water!?!?!? Lord - I had like 5 big glasses yesterday and by the end of the day I swear I could hear it swishing around in my stomach!
I ran 5K in 28:45 today- my best time ever....felt like I was going to die in the last quarter mile or so, but I've been trying so hard to get a sub 29 minute 5K for quite some time now....YAY!!! Did another 45 minutes on the elliptical because my legs were so tight afterwards I thought they might just pop!

No problem Coco, include my newest points for today 6/6/07 if you will
27 (24 for water, 3 for 15 min workout). So my total should be 162.
THANKS!
update for 6/06 - 40 oz water and no exercise :-( TTOM took it all out of me and I went to bed at 7PM. I will do better today. I have loads of energy after all the sleep I got.
06/06/07
Exercise: 2 hours (ran another 8 miler in 1 hour and 20 mins and cooled down for another 10 minutes, then did a half hour of weights)
Water: 48 oz (feel like I'm going to float away!!)
I've really become quite addicted to running!!! I'm still not very fast - these short legs will only carry me so fast, but I'm getting better.

Hello, Slimming Minis!
If anyone is interested in an Excel Spreadsheet to track your points (hopefully for other months as well, although this one is just for June), send me a Private Message with your email and I'll be happy to send it to you! Sure makes my life easier ... and cocowan's, I'm sure, as I can send her my cumulative points as well!
I love graphs and numbers!

Also drank 3L of water today but no substantial workout. Will try and make up for it tomorrow. Fitnessfreak you are inspiring with all that running. I just KNOW the last 10 Lbs would melt from me if I could get out a run. Maybe this weekend ....
