I?ve been with CC since last May and I?ve found that if I do only 4 things a day I?ll lose steadily. So what?s my problem? Why can?t I do the 4 things every day to get this weekly loss? Maybe if I commit to posting my daily results from the day before it will help me stay in line. We all know what we need to do, I?d love to know what your daily goals are for you to get your results? Maybe you have more than 4, maybe you have less. Join me in this posting quest.
I?ll post tomorrow morning my total results from today. :) Means goal accomplished. Goals:
:) 1: Exercise 45 minutes.
:) 2: Drink 8 or more glasses of water.
:) 3: Use CC?s food log to stay within 1400 calories.
:) 4: Don?t eat anything after 7:00pm.

I'll stay away from Halloween altogether to avoid all the goodies. It's easier for me not to start than to try to stop at just one. So far today I've kept under my caloric limit. Since it's after 7:00pm my kitchen is closed. Happy Happy :D

I am happy to have found this post!! This is what I have been looking for- a daily goal post.
1. Drink 6-8 glasses of water (as of 8:30 cst I've had 2)
2. Eat 6 small meals a day for a total cal. intake of 1,400
3. Go to the gym
4. Stop eating at 7:00

Great lauren, only 2 more glasses of water to go. I've got three more to go I don't know why water is one of my problem areas it sounds so easy but isn't. I hope you get to the gym too.
I think you guys are on the right track. Water was hard for me too. Make sure that when you excercise you drink even more water. Oh and laurenaddict, if you have a glass of water with each of your six meals that is 6 already. :)

I guess Im just luckyy, becauuuse I loooove water, and can't get enough it.
I drink 100oz atleast most everyday.
My problem is I also loveeee fooood. But Im starting to enjoy working out and attempting to get in shape for New Years, 30lbs in 90 days, crazy it may be, but crazy is me. Well see

:( 4: Don?t eat anything after 7:00pm. I need to eat a heavier meal before 7:00 and make sure I get all my 1400 calories. For some reason I wasn't hungry during the day. Then around 10:00pm I was starved and thought it better to eat something than wake up at 3:00 because of hunger pains.

Motivation is ALWAYS the biggest issue! Those days I get home from work and say, "I'm too tired to go to the gym!' I haven't been for 2 days! Yikes! So I must go tonight. Do any of you have the guilt factor play a role? I often feel guilty when I don't get to the gym, and then I get mad at myself and think since my day is shot anyway, I might as well have a little extra ice cream at dinner. This happen to you? My goals for the day (which when I stick to them make me feel good and I do see progess):

2) Get to the gym, exercise 35-45 minutes.
3) Limit calorie intake to 1300.
4) Watch those portion sizes!!

I feell lots of guilt, especially when my husband gets home and gets on the treadmil. I tell myself that I need to eat dinner early, by 6:30, he does not eat until 7:00 or 7:30. Yeah the guilt is there under my layers of fat. But what I've started to do is that I set goals for the day and week. Everyday the goal is water and cal. at 1,400. Week will be goin to the gym 3 times.
Hummm, Guilt? After many guilt trips, I?ve learned to modify my words when making my goals. 45 minutes of exercise whatever; walking is great instead of putting a name on it like ?go to the gym?. Like mscoghill, I?d blow off the day over one personal ?let down?.

What I do, if he?s not eating with me, I don?t worry about it and when he does eat I?ll have a glass of water if I?ve eaten or have a snack depending upon the time and depending upon how busy I am. I cook ahead of time so when someone needs to eat (hubby or daughter), I just nuke it. We have to do whatever it takes to do what we need to do for our health. My moto: A happy mom is a happy household.

Hi! Can I join too? I had a diet buddy for a little while but he recently told me flat-out "I can't do this anymore so I am quitting." He is VERY stubborn and no form of gentle (or aggressive!) encouraging could change his mind. I would really like some new diet buddies to keep me motivated.
