Wed: Training (running) 45 mins on the treadmills (other people too, being trained by a PT also an athlete)

Thurs: 45 min cycle class am. 9k run outside evening.

Fri: Either my long run ... warm up walking/jogging for 20-25 mins and then 1 1/2 hours running OR evening cycle class.

Sat: Long run if I didn't do it Fri, if I did my long run Fri = short run of 7km.

Sun: 45 mins RPM class am.

I race (running long distance and LOVE the feeling pf racing) so all I do is about. Have my next race May 16th :) building up fitness for half marathon Oct. Anyway, I've been eating poorly started relying on meal supplements to get my req'd energy intake (Sustagen, Akta-vite, milo, protein shake). Checked this site out it estmated my burn to be 2880 calories!!!!! That is a lot of food so wondering from a new memeber are is the calculator accurate?

Hi Runner,

You do sound very active to me, but I agree it is hard to just jump in to eating so many calories if you are concerned about accuracy.  Here is a link to another calculator I found not too long ago:  http://www.bmi-calculator.net/bmr-calculator/

I hope this is helpful to you.
Good Luck!
Heather
