Anyway, I've been eating poorly started relying on meal supplements to get my req'd energy intake (Sustagen, Akta-vite, milo, protein shake). Checked this site out it estmated my burn to be 2880 calories!!!!! That is a lot of food so wondering from a new memeber are is the calculator accurate?
Hi Runner,
You do sound very active to me, but I agree it is hard to just jump in to eating so many calories if you are concerned about accuracy. Here is a link to another calculator I found not too long ago: http://www.bmi-calculator.net/bmr-calculator/
I hope this is helpful to you.
Good Luck!
Heather

- Plot your weight curve
- Analyze the trend of your weight (see under Recent in the figure above)
- Determine the projected target date (see under Overall in the figure above)
