For an accurate weight on the scale, do you subtract the amount of food/water you ate in pounds that day, and clothes?
Today the scale at my gym said about 156.3 (manual scale). But I had already eaten 1.5 liters of water within an hour, 1 banana, 2 peaches, 1 pint of raspberries, and a bowl of cereal. = 2299 grams, 5 pounds. I was also wearing a sports bra, spandex capris, and a sweaty t-shirt = underestimating at 1 lbs. So 150 pounds... would be my real body weight, right?
No I weigh in the morning, after going to the bathroom, sans clothes. Of course that is hard at the gym----![]()
All weight is relative---so if you weigh under similar conditions, then you will have a rough idea of how you are progressing.
Weighing in the morning w/o clothing or minimal garment seems fine to me.
your food and water intake each day does not accurately calculate into body weight.
Weigh yourself in the morning, after you have used the bathroom, with no clothes. This is your true and accurate weight.

I weigh in the morning, still naked and right after that first visit to the toilet. Sorry if that's TMI, but it's the most accurate way to get a weight IMHO.
Your weight doesn't directly correlate to the "pounds" of food you've eaten. That's not the same thing.

I weigh under the same conditions every time, dressed in workout clothes, light shoes and several hours after eating and within some time of physical activity. I used to weigh at the mall (GNC) and now I weigh at the gym.

I always weight my self at the same time and naked. early in the morning seems to work for me. Mid day weight could really get me depressed.
Weigh naked...or as close to naked as possible early in the morning before you consume anything...That way you take out the variables...and your true weight can come to light
