Is the activity counter inaccurate??
Maybe I'm wrong and I haven't thought this all the way through yet, but aren't some of the calories we are tackng onto our daily burn via activities getting counted twice? Once in our daily burn projection and again in the hour or so we tack onto in our logged activities?
For example, if I run for an hour I burn about 700 calories. My daily burn projection (mine's set at sedentary) already factored in 72 or whatever calories for that hour, so aren't 772 calories being counted as being burned instead of 700 as it should be? This is so much easier to think about than to put into words....but hopefully i'm getting the point across.
Reason: Moved from Weight Loss to Calorie Count forum
yes that makes alot of sence. im not sure tho. if you were to add that u ran an hour it might just take those calories out for an hour and add what you put. im not sure but good point
calorie count actually subtracts out those calories already burned in that hour. try it out. note your burn meter, add the hour of activity and the total added should be less than what the activity amount was (hopefully by 72 cals).
awesome, thanks!
what ang6181 said. i had the same question back when i started.
