Activity Level Help..............

Quote  |  Reply

Hello Everyone, I need a little help determining my activity level. I have a HRM so I will be adding my exercise to my activity log, BUT I walk back and forth to work 4 x a day, so I walk about 60 mins plus exercise.

So should I put down sedentary or light exercise for my activity level since I am walking approx 60 mins a day to work?

You're lightly active, but don't log the walking as extra.

Yup, def. not sedatary if you do 60 minutes walking as a part of daily routine.

Thanks. When I switched to lightly active it said that I burned an extra 280 cals, so does that seem about right with 60 mins of walking?

You can use the activity tool to estimate the calories burned in 60 minutes walking depending on how fast you walk and the incline if any.  You can either add this as an activity each work day and set at sedentary, or if light activity is pretty accurate just leave it there.
