Activity level making me crazy.
Today, I did basically nothing other than sit on my bed and type up over due essays, occasionally getting up to clean the bathroom or put my laundry away. Then I went for an hour long walk, 4.1 mph at an incline of 2. I know it lists about an hour of exercise as moderately active, but does it really mean a walk, or the way people really go at it in the gym for an hour? How intense does that hour have to be?
I know exactly how often you guys get these questions, so thanks for humoring me. I'm new to doing this right.
It can be a high intensity workout for 30-45 mins, or a medium intensity workout for 45-90 mins. You can do the high intensity workout for an hour if you are really good at exercising for a long time.
If you put your activity level at sedentary, then log your walk in the Activities Log, it will give you a more accurate number than the estimation of the activity level.
Thanks for the input!
If you put in walking, it has the 4.0 mph option which will give you around the right calorie burn for that, easiest thing is to leave your activity level as sedentary and then just log all exercise.
