What do you put in your activity log?

Quote  |  Reply
I just recently joined the site and i think its great!
What are you supposed to add to your activity log? It seems to count calories expended automatically. So, are you supposed to add activities such as sleeping or sitting @ work?

Personally I set my activity level as sedentary and then add extra exercise like walking the dog for an hour or going my elliptical trainer separately. I don't bother logging things like 'going up the stairs', ' walking around the office' etc
I do the same thing. I put mine down as sedentary, and only log my workouts. If I logged everything I did I wouldn't get anything else done.

thanks!!!

i tried putting everything one time and it took forever and the total calorie expenditure was ridiculously high.

any other tipssssssss? :)

Joining a little late.......but anyway....
Welcome to Calorie Count :)
I also do the same as everyone else. I set my level at sedentary and ONLY log exercise or any crazy amount of activity outside of the norm.
I feel it gives a more accurate picture of my actual burn.
Some days I work out harder and longer and others not at all, so it really keeps the picture clear.

I would be happy to give some other tips, but I am not sure what tips you want/need :)
