Actress says 'No" to eating less doughnuts

She looks healthy, on the trim side and stands firm with her acceptance of her body size.  Can we hear from more of these actresses?

Years back I was a big Ally McBeal fan and remember Courtney Thorne Smith saying she left the show because of excessive pressure to be thin.  Found this quote from the interview:  "I started undereating, overexercising, pushing myself too hard and brutalizing my immune system.  The amount of time I spent thinking about food and being upset and my body was insane." 

Good for her.  She looks fine the way she is.  I feel sorry for all the celebs who have to endure the Hollywood pressure.

I am rather shocked that anyone would suggest that Anna Friel needed to lose weight... everything I have seen her in she looks prettly tiny, in a natural way. Good for her for standing up for realistic standards!

no idea what she means; victoria's secret and sports illustrated models are all over the place.

honestly, she's being pretty stuck up. "eat less donuts" is different than "eat just enough food to survive".

garnet- I think he told her to eat less donuts as a snarky remark. Not the way a doctor would tell you to "eat less cholesteral" but as a jerk-ass-agent. If I looked like her and my boss told me to eat less donuts, I would probably tell him to shove it and walk out.

On the otherhand- I think that there are very curvy sexy actresses, but after watching 21 last night with my boyfriend I think Kate Bosworth or whatever looks like a darn coatrack. Yuck girl, eat another donut.

It's very scary that even an actress as skinny as she is is being told to 'lose weight' for television! For the last ten years or so, women on tv have been gradually getting 'thinner' every year and by now they're scary-thin.

Considering she is married to a guy I'm totally in lust with, she is perfect as she is.

Grr!
