how to add foods for days away from computer?

Hi,

I just found this site, and already love it.  What great tools for tracking your food intake.  My first real realization is that I am eating more than I think I am.  Keeping a food diary isn't enough.  I would often have a short list, and feel good about a day's eating.  But I realize with the calorie counting that this log does, that a small amount of food is still not helpful, if it is too calorie dense.

It's been an eye-opener.

But my question is this:  I have a strict "no online" policy for the weekends.  I work online, and need to force myself to take a break each week.  How can I add foods to my log for days that I am away?  If I miss a day of logging online, can I not amend that when I get back online?

Thanks for the help,

Metagirl

just write everything down on a papaer and log them as soon as you get online. that's how i do. soon you'll start knowing the cals of the food you regularly eat anyway - but you'll still need cc to be more precise in counting. good luck

Thanks.  Smile

I was planning to write it down, but I am only a couple days into this site, and am wondering how to "go back" a day or two to add something to a log.

So far, it always just shows me the day it is for adding foods.  I'm really just having technical difficulty sorting out how to enter foods for days that are NOT today, as today seems to be the only option...

Does that many any sense?Tongue out

When you add an item there's a drop down box for date, month and year - above the box with the item name which is above the box to say which meal it is.
