how do you add friends?

Hi everyone, I feel so dumb, but how do you add friends? I have several people who have added me as a friend, and I can't seem to figure out how to add them! Thanks all!

You click on their username and this should take you to their profile. Above the box with their basic info there should be a link thats says "Add Buddy"

how am i able to find a specific friend? i can't find anyway to locate people except check the forums.

If you know their screen name you can go to caloriecount.about.com/profile/screenname or caloriecount.about.com/people/screenname I'm pretty sure.
