Do you add roo to your 'do?
Which lead me to Aussie products. Has anyone ever used them? I bought the Hair Insurance and the Tizz No Frizz gel. We tested the leave-in conditioner in Alex's hair at the store and aside from the coconut scent, I liked it.
Any other Aussie products I should look out for?
I haven't tried Aussie products, but what are the ingredients you looked for? I'm also frizzy and growing out my hair to see if it's from dying it or naturally that way.
The Mega hair spray by Aussie is fantastic--feels almost like a salon product but it's super cheap. I also use their 3-minute Miracle deep-conditioner once a week. All the Aussie products I've tried smell really good, too, and tend to have soothing ingredients. When is your wedding??
I have curly/wavy hair & I use the Sprunch Spray. I love it & wouldnt use anything else!
I tried out this Tizz No Frizz gel and oh my word, I haven't seen my hair look this good since I didn't wash it for a week. I mean, yeah my roots and majority of my hair looked greasy and disgusting (and felt that way, too) but the ends of my hair? I didn't think they'd ever look like normal hair. Like, movie-star normal hair.
I am in loooooooove. Especially at 2.68 a bottle.
I love Aussie products! I love the Three Minute Miracle and the sprunch spray. I have super curly hair and I love the mousse with the leave in coditioner. For days when I straighten I use the Aussie Smoothie Gel. For frizzies the best (cheap) product I have found is Citri-shine shine serum. I mix a little of that with some of the Smoothie gel and run it through my hair while it's still soaking wet. Then I wrap a towel around it for two minutes, then comb it.

It's starting to sound like I should go back to WalMart and get the rest of the Aussie products.
lol, I have really thick, curly, coarse hair (think horse tail after electrocution, or poodle after a mile relaxer) and I like the Aussie stuff. It does tend to leave build up after awhile, so I like to use Nutrogena Clean shampoo. It's pretty cheap ($2.97 a bottle at my WalMart) I don't use the Aussie shampoo. It just doesn't "do" it for me. (ahem, pun intended)
aussie has a shine shampoo that i really like-- but i recently started using the herbal essences new line with their hydration conditioner-- i LOVE it. its super thick and the coconut smell doesnt linger and mixes nicely with my vanilla/amber scent i usually wear
i do really like aussie products, esp the three minute miracle. good stuff. i second everyone on the shine serum statements. for straightening, the best product i have found (and i have literally tried them all) is the ...oh shoot the name just escaped me... its the stuff made for heat, in a purple botttle, its a leave in cream. when my lazy butt goes up stairs ill grab it. its fab, doesnt make my hair feel or look dirty, and does awesome after i dry my hair too when i go to straighten or curl it.
edit: best shampoo/conditioner combo has to be the john frieda brilliant brunette for me. it makes my hair glitter. again, doesnt weigh it down but it looks almost like i just dyed it.
The 3 Minute Miracle is, indeed, awesome. I had dreadlocks for about 8 years and when I combed them out my hair was a total frizz bomb. That stuff totally got rid of all the damage and made my hair really shiny and manageable.

I will second that! I switch back and forth between that and the Nutrogena Clean (the pink one) I love the Brilliant Brunette scent!!
I'll third it. My hair always looked amazing using it. I think it's honestly, one of the few things from home I really miss.
From all the good reports, I think I'll buy the roo next time. Poor thing someone is always stealing her products, but they must work.
