I take it and I know what you mean. It is so hard to force yourself to eat. I take 40-50 mg daily and I have no appetite. I pack myself food every where I go, usually refreshing lite food so when I make myself eat it, I don't want to throw up. take along your fav fruits and vegies, and eat before taking more meds. Try exercising more as well, it seems to make me want to eat a little more. If this does not help I hope you find info that does. I looked at your pics, your profile pic looks good but Vegas is a bit to skinny. Good Luck! Besides the food issues, isnt aderall great. I just started taking it 2-3 months ago, it has made all the difference. Just watch out for taking stimulants with it, it makes it easy to get addictied.

i appreciate ur response! helps me out alot. i guess i should just eat a big breakfast before i take my medicine and do what you said about the snacking during the day.

lol i agree with u about the vegas picture, i look like a boy :)

Yeah that is a big side effect of aderall. Apparently all the celebrities take it to get so ridiculously skinny...  Maybe talk to your doctor and see if there's a different medicine you can take that won't take away your appetite. If all else fails you might just have to force feed yourself, which sucks.

yah iv tried other things and they dont work for me at all. ill just force food down my throat like iv been doing lol

After about 3 months the weight loss will level out and in the long run you gain most of it back over time. The appetite effect will go away once you get used to taking the meds regularly. As long as you take them daily your appetite WILL come back.

Things that help until then is eating a big breakfast before taking them. Also, something a lot of doctors fail to mention, is that citric acid can decrease the effectiveness of adderall when ingested 2 hours before or after consuming adderall. something to keep in mind.

But long run, don't worry, what you've lost so far will come back. For now just focus on making sure you're eating at least bare minimum enough, and try not to stress out too much over it. :)

i appreciate the responses.  and that makes sence to me that after taking something for a period of time, your body will adjust BUT i do know that my dad is a doctor and people with severe weight problems (only in some cases) people can be described adderal. i peorsonally know one of my guy friends that was over weight at least 200 pounds and hes been taking it for a couple years and i would say, hes skinny...so it just bums me out bc it works well but i hate having to force myself to eat food. iv never had to do that

I am just curious...If you are concerned about your weight and eat healthy and have friends that speak of weight loss...Why are you complaining about loosing weight?  I would love for my ADRL to make me loose noticeable weight.  i too, watch what i eat (sometimes) and work out, but not as much as i use to though.  Anyways like other people said EAT FIRST!!!! When adderall is taken on an empty stomache it absorbs faster and last longer, therfore making it work better....loosing your appettie.. So if you want to have an appettie eat first then take your meds.

Hope this helps.
