I went for a walk today and found that according to calorie count I burned 176 calories during my walk.
However my burn meter only went up 110 calories.
Why is there a difference in these two numbers??
I am searching for the answer to that very question. If I add an activity that CC says burned 112 calories, my burn meter only rises by 40 calories!!
That's barely 1/3 of the amount I actually burned. :(
What gives, CC?
I am guessing that CC is subtracting out the number of calories you burn normally in whatever length of time you excersized, and is only adding to your burn meter the additional calories burned on top of what you would have burned sitting down the whole time.
However I would like some confirmation of this from somebody who knows for sure. I like to eat what I burned while excersizing so its important I know how many additional calories I am getting.
Does nobody know or is this posted in the wrong forum?
Admin's, if this is in the wrong forum can you please move it to the right one for this question.
Right Forum and mkeys5000 is right.
The Burn Meter will take the amount you would NORMALLY burn, subtract from the amount burned doing the activity, and adjust for the new burn amount.
Thanks thats all I needed to know, even if I didn't want to hear it:)
