Adding friends??

Hey there,

I'm new to the site and talked my mom into joining as well.  How can I add her as a friend?  I click on, "start adding friends" (i think that's what it says) and it just takes me to this info page about adding/meeting new people from forums.  What about people I already know?

I clicked on your name to go to your profile (I couldn't find it before you replied to me) and there's an "Add Buddy" option at the top.
