Adding your own items

Would be very helpful if when we add our own item in the log and then tag it for future recovery, it could be saved in a way that we can change the quantity in the same manner that we can on those that are already included in the lists.  For example, I added a slice of lean ham to my tagged items, and when I had two slices, I had to add one slice twice, rather than input "2" in the box before adding it to the log.

Also agree with the other comments re: putting the tagged items on the same page as the food log.

Its quite a committment to start tracking calories - and making it easier to do so would be much appreciated!

I second this request.

I came here to post this request.

This would be particularly useful given the practice of having a can of something be 2.5 servings; we could add the posted nutritional info and then multiply instead of precalculating everything.

This drives me nuts! I have a question....if anyone can help. When I add a food, is there a way to put the serving size (ex. 1 cup, 2 tbsp) instead of having to enter the weight in grams?

A LARGE AMEN!!

My purpose using this site was just that-- enter what I'm eating by what is listed on the package, then multiplying as needed to get the right answer to my question-- HOW MANY CALORIES AM I REALLY EATING... ?

After a lifetime of dieting I'm actually being very, very serious about this-- finally

I also do not think there is a person alive who actually consumes the amounts listed on the packages as "serving"-- .  Don't anyone tell me I SHOULD eat the servings as listed-- PLEASE!-- I'm in the real world.

I eat healthy-- just too blamed much!  AND I need this kind of help-- the help my question is asking..... if I know how much I'm actually eating-- I can then decrease the amounts in a way that my mind AND body can tolerate and see results-- OR NOT!!......

So-- I'm signed in, but I'm going to search more for a site that actually does what I need and want.  If I find one, I'll post it--

Folks here-- keep with it-- I am --even tho I'm grousing this morning-- I just know I need MORE knowledge to accomplish my goal... it's MY goal...

SO, people who can make adjustments to how this site functions-- please, please accommodate these requests....
