Adding 1.5 servings of a recipie to food log... impossible???

Quote  |  Reply

Can this be done?  Say I went for seconds on a meal and had 1.5 servings.  I can't figure out how to enter it in for one of my recipies.  I've been able to trick it by clicking the radio button for "/100 g" and then putting in 150 grams and that does the math like 1.5 servings for calories, but not for all of the other nutritional info... Any help out there?

i think you just have to figure out what half of the nutritional information would be and add that.

ex: 1 serving has 4 grams of fat, half of that is 2, change it to 6 gram

Thanks for replying... but

I've tried that and the calorie value does not change accordingly.  My food log shows the increased weight (6 grams in your example), but the calorie information on my food log still shows up as the same amount of calories as the original serving amount.  I think it might be a bug or just a lack of features...

Any other ideas?

Either find an item that is not measured in "servings" or copy down the nutritional label, do the math, and enter it as a custom item.  Use the Add it Here link on the right side of your Food Log heading.

If the manufacturer provides only information "per serving" then that's the only way you can log it.  The Food Log doesn't recognize fractions/decimals.  I believe the team is working to correct these items.

You can request a change by using the contact link at the bottom of the page.  Provide a link to the item in question.

So you can log your weight -- which allows you to do the following:
  1. Plot your weight curve
  2. Analyze the trend of your weight (see under Recent in the figure above)
  3. Determine the projected target date (see under Overall in the figure above)
