ive been eating around 2000 3000 calories aday for the past 3 weeks, i dont know how much weight ive put on as i wont weigh myself, and never will again, but i have put on loads, ive gone from a size 6 to size 8 fitting like they should, my legs have got a lot bigger ive gained 1 1/2 inches on the top of my legs, what i want to know is, is my bodyholding on the calories incase i stop again, and if i carry on eating that many calories will my weight gain slow down and stop or will i continue to gain weight as fast as i have?, and what will happen if i cut my calories down, i still havent got my period. i know i will prob gain more weight then normal people and will always have to be carefull what i eat as i dont have a thyriod gland as i had it removed last year because of graves desease, someone help me please, im feeling desprate and want to cut back on the calories big time.

Honey, all I can tell you is what I did in the other thread. Do not cut back, and remember what you are seeing in the mirror is likely not true to life. If you have even experienced any rapid gain it'll be water and nothing else. It slows. Keep eating 2500-3000, keep your fats up to get your period back, keep fighting this stupid disease.

As your body has gone without food for so long, its holding on to every little bit it can get in case it happens again. Eventually your weight gain will slow down because your body realises that it is getting food on a regular bases and does not need to "hoard" extra calories. If you were to cut back on your calories, your body would think it was being starved again and try to hold on to all the food it is recieving. Therefore, its best to stick to your high calorie diet as your body will eventually realise it is not being starved and your weight gain will definately slow down :)

thank you for your replys, that has deff helped me, thanks,
