I just met with a personal trainer for the first time today, it's the free one that comes with a gym membership. I'm 5'4, 121 pounds, and 21.6% body fat. I told him I lift weights 2x a week and prefer to spin. He says I should just do compound exercises with less cardio. I'm happy with the way I look so I'm just maintaining when I go to the gym. He thinks in 8 weeks time I could lose the fat around my belly, which is where most of it is, and drop down to 16-18% body fat. What do you guys think, is this achievable? Or is he just trying to get me to pay him for more consultations?
