Hey everyone....
so I am a college student ready to go back soon and always like to evaluate where I am at with my weight and what goal I should aim for (I do this because I lost 115 lbs by Jan 2007) and fluctuate up and down a bit...
after xmas to May I went from like 143 up to 162 because I was exercising a lot and gained some muscle and also some fat (since i was eating more bc the exercising made me hungry)....but over the summer I have been a little more lenient with my exercise (although I still do enough, just I don't overdo it anymore like I did in the spring) and have naturally been eating less than I was not really on purpose, but because I just tend to eat less in the summer and live a more active daily lifestyle than I do when I am sitting/eating most of the day in college hahaha...
anyway I am now 5'7'' 20y.o male who is147 lbs....I know my BMI is in a healthy range and that the "ideal" weight varies from person to person...
on the AVERAGE guy like myself, what would you consider 147 (thin? big boned? etc.) and do you think I should just work at maintaining this or going back down into the low 140's/mid 130's where I once was before I gained some weight last spring...
any input is appreciated!

I'd say its a completely average weight. If you wanted to lose a little weight, you could probably stand to lose 5 or 6 pounds. But it is completely up to you since you are already quite healthy.
It sounds average to me. I think you should work on maintaining after your impressive weight loss.
Look in the mirror. How do you think you look? Is that what you want to look like? I am not being sarcastic, but at your age and height, if you look good and feel comfortable in your activities (and clothes!), don't worry about the scale so much! Stay active and continue to build muscle. You could always ask a girl for her opinion ;o)
thanks for your input! you are absolutely right carolann about it being up to me entirely based on how I perceive myself
