Me again....todays question is Diet Pills?

Quote  |  Reply
My gym has some pills in their shop, I can?t recall the name, but the gym is 24-hour Fitness. Would the gym sell a pill if it didn?t work or if they are not good for you to take? I have taken other pills in the pass some with little affect and other with none at all. I was thinking since I?m doing so well with counting calories and working out?which they say the pills work better with diet and exercise. I know some are reading this saying??stupid girl?, but I just maybe need the little ?don?t do it? so I don?t, or the ?It wont hurt? and I try it. Any help would be much loved. Thanks.

now I have to admit, I tried stackers at one time, didnt mind them, gave me energy to work out. I have a 2 year old and a 4 year old that like to get up before 5 sometimes! and a husband that likes me to stay up til midnight with him! I need energy sometimes. Lately a girl that works with my hubby is taking the Farenheit just for women and she has lost 10 lbs in 3 weeks. She is an aerobic instrutor on weekends too! So I have thought about trying them, she swears by them.
Anything I've read says that you can't run away from diet pills fast enough.

At best they simply don't work (the improvements you see are usually psychosymatic because you are working harder). At worst some of them can be addictive or cause serious health problems.

You are most likely better off taking a multivitamin everyday to improve balanced nutrition and continue with healthy food and exercise.
Dont take that stuff...they are not good for you at all. When you lose some pounds and gain energy you will see you dont need those kinds of things. Be a positive role model for others and show them that you dont need that stuff to be fit. Dont let people convince you its a quick fix to energy. Its not. You are the quick fix when you decide to choose wisely. Smile be happy and go for the gusto....huggers to you
ummm.... What Would Erik Say? I'm sure he would say no... I think I will just keep up with what I'm doing and not eat the pills.
good for you....smile....yeah...no pills great decision....huggers on a good choice
I was also thinking should I cut my calories more... I'm at about 1480 a day(sometimes thats because I made myself eat more). This site said I should be at 1594 (I think is a bit much) to loss .8 lbs a week for like 72 weeks. I think I can do better. I'm at 229 today started at 237 Jan 3rd. I use to eat about 2500 a day... I counted a few weeks before I started... Crazy I dont think I can ever go back to that. Any help will be loved. And thanks for all the thoughts.
I should also say I'm 5'10"....
What about Green Tea Gel Pills or Relacore? I've seen these and some people I know swear by them. Sorry a bit off track from your original question.

I've been taking Green Tea Pills... I'd assume they're not bad for you because they're supposed to be the same as like the drink (hopefully)... but then again you know what they same about when you assume things lol... but I wouldn't mind hearing feedback on them because if they are bad for you then I'll probably just drink the green tea, even though I've never really liked tea, but green tea has anti something or another (can't remember right now lol) that's supposed to help your metabolism... so anywho I'd like to hear what someone with a little more experience on the subject has to say...
Careful with cutting the calories, 1200-1500 is a normal self-monitored diet range.

Most nutritionists and health professionals will not recommend that you loose any more than 2lbs per week, and some won't recommend more than 1lb per week.

If you start getting above that range check yourself and get back onto the slow and steady wins the race diet.... it will be better for you in the long run and it will help ensure that you lost weight the healthy way, meaning your meatbolism responded, muscle was created and fat was lost over time.... all these help make sure that you keep weight off in the long run.

ell actually they could be promoting it for varoius reasons....money, publicity, actual weight loss, etc....

i have used a pill called SlimAlli and it does work ...20 pounds down in 3 weeks!

my friend suggested it and you can find it at www.slimalli.com

hey great to find another person whose used SlimAlli...i found them on the internet got their free sample and followed their advice and i have lost quite a lot of pounds...

cheers to SlimAlli!!!

Gyms can be tricky, but remember their priorities go like this:

1. Business

2. You

Gyms who sell diet pills often do so to make extra profit, considering persons know a gym is supposed to a "good place" they often fall into the trap. Many of the pills they sell are some of the better ones but usually have the same effects as all other weight loss pills. Just remember they usually aren't FDA approved and don't give long term results.

when you pack the pounds back on again where do you turn to for losing them? The gym again of course.

Just business :)

I took prescription diet pills for many years.....THEY ARE BAD..
any kind is bad

keep eating better and execise more
