Hope everyone's weekend went well. Mine....not so much. Everything was going so good, until yesterday that is. I went to see a friend I haven't seen in a year or two and we went to a fall festival together. Festival food!!! I must say, I didn't do as bad as I could have. I had a hotdog and some SERIOUSLY greasy fries, but really didnt eat many of them. I took a few bites of cotton candy and turned in the other direction when I saw the fudge tables lol. The festival itself wasn't really the bad part. We went back to her place after and my three kids were getting hungry again so we order some pizza. I ate 2.5 peices :( and the left over crust my youngest had from his 3 pieces. Domino's Pizza isn't too bad really, depending on how much you eat of course lol. So then we left around 6pm and of course, my 3 sons were hungry again because they are bottomless pits who never gain weight. So I swing into the dollar menu at McD's and was overcome by the icecream urge. :( I have a small vanilla cone and felt guilty with every lick. I might have been able to console myself had the indulgence stopped there. But it didn't. When we got home I ate chips and salsa(slightly more than a normal portion) and a 100 calorie pack of hostess chocolate snack cakes. I am such a sweet-o-holic. I can't just have one.
The "good" news about it all is that I didn't really go past my calorie in take. But, I know dieting is not just about how much, it's also about what....
So, hoping today will be a better, healthier day, and the start of a good week. Sometimes Mondays can be good i guess.
