So this ain't the end. I saw you again today. Had to turn my Chat away.
Hello
I keep having weird dreams.
My Mom asked me last night how I was feeling. I said "My cold?" She said "No" I said "My stomach hurting from yesterday?" She said "No, over the breakup" I really haven't been dwelling on it. I talked to her on New Years Eve, got everything out and decided not to think about it anymore. I realized it was over and there wasn't really a need to keep going over things in my head.
Huh, maybe I learned and grew last year!
Good for you for learning and growing. :)
So in today's Washington Post.. the biggest charge increase in Metro History has now gone into effect.. But don't think you're getting to work or home on time... because Metro Car reliability is still on the decline.
I'm telling you.. if Metro doesn't get itself straighted out, it's going to have some serious problems in the near future. The kind of problems that a charge increase won't fix.
Its scares me.
Edit: changing/growing, not Metro.
The post office had my mail. And there was a $50 rebate check in the pile. Gee, thanks I could have used this on Monday. Ah well.
Well. At least you got your mail.
Why does Changing and Growing scare you?
HR sent out an e-mail saying that if we were effected by Metros hike we need to fill out a new application for the subsidy they give us. But I'm already at the max so I don't see the use. Now if they say they are upping the max then I will.
I just am glad I'm getting out of this area.
I mean.. thanks to Metro, now.. even if the Gas Spikes up to $5 a gallon.. it's STILL cheaper for me to drive in to work. That's.. re-frikkin'diculous.

It scares me because its like - is this really going to stick? Or am I going to go back to being a mess next time. And its hard to realize you are being an adult.
Well.. I didn't know you before you arrived on C-C, but in the year I've known you, you've found a good crowd and I think if you stayed with the kind of good supportive crowd you've got now.. you could make it stick.
During Rush Hour, to get to work and back.. would cost me.. i'm not joking here...$12.75 a day, if I parked in the lot. $11 if I took the bus.
That means Gas could be $6-7 a gallon .. and it'd still be cheaper to drive to work.
What makes me mad about Metro is there is no oversite. I don't know if you remember or where here but a few years ago they found out that the contractors working the parking lot booths were stealing the money. I mean, millions of dollars. (Thats why you have to use your smart trip car for parking). Was there no one over seeing these people? How do you not realize that the money you are getting from parking does not match the number of cars in the lots?
I feel like we are paying for their screw ups.
