Any good plans for the weekend?

The nephew is being Christened Sunday, so I'm going to my sisters to decorate and cook.  Then we signed up for a DIVA day tomorrow afternoon.  Massages, manicures, makeup, hair, lunch ect. 

Ooo sounds like fun. I'm meeting a friend for lunch tomorrow. It will be nice to have some girl time.

That's what we thought.  This is sponsored by one of the new high-end shopping centers.  You get about 6 services over 4 hours including lunch and wine for a $100.  Then you need to tip each provider, so about $130 for the afternoon.  Not bad.  I occasionally use the Spa there for massages and their going rate is about $100 an hour, so 30minutes plus all the other services that isn't bad.

Morning Laura.  Thank God it's Friday is more like it.  We have had a full moon all week in my office.  We are doing a layoff starting tonight and it has been a nightmare in my office.

That pic lends itself quite well to captioning.  The one I saw was something like, "Don't mess wif me, I has the tuff!"

Oh geez, Lonestar, you have my sympathy. :(  Is the layoff something people are expecting?

Lay-offs suck.

Well, in the Appliance industry right now it's not a surprise to anyone, but we've only known for a week.  We're cutting about 90 of 1500 jobs.  All of these people were hired in the past year to assist with a higher demand and summer vacations ect.
