It's not all about the face. How to keep the skin on the body young looking too?
I want to keep my chest and back looking young and healthy. After years of sun damage etc my skin has taken a toll. Any ideas of how to keep those gorgeous areas of our bodies looking smooth and lovely?
I am not big on products for the body. I do every-so-often before bed put on a body lotion that is "rich in minerals and vitamins."
Also, waxing helps keep the pore look small. I shaved for 6 years and waxed once. After I waxed the difference in the skin consistency of tone and blemishes completely changed. I finally figured out how those girls that walk around in little shorts and skirts look so polished.
Sweating!!!! Exercising like jogging or yoga, if it makes you sweat, you are cleaning your skin and also losing toxins. :)
I try to exfoliate from head to toe at least once a week. After shower I love using Neutrogena's sesame body oil. I'll layer on lotion in the winter for superhydrated skin. Leaves my skin so soft and glowy. I also use sunscreen everyday on my neck and decollatege everyday. I don't know how to reverse any signs of aging but I know I've seen products out there for that. Avon has some serums for the neck and chest area as well as your hands. I wish I would've been more into sunscreen when I was younger. I'm 28 and just started using it on my body everyday and not just my face. I'm hoping that I won't have alot of damage as I get older. So for all you teens and young adults, be diligent about sunscreen now and you'll have less worries about wrinkles and age spots as you get older.
I used alpha hydrox souffle on my face and neck every night. It has helped with the little weird spots I was beginning to notice. I am very fair and spent way too much time in the sun. Alpha hydrox is not very expensive (i think about $14 of a bottle from drugstore.com) and even made the big pores on my nose less noticable. (hurray!)
