All you Maintainers....whatcha doin' workout wise?
Hey guys...I feel that through all the food changes, we pretty much know what to eat....got the nutrition part down as per our body's needs. So how are you keeping your shape?
Tonight, I'm running 7-8 miles (short run, actually...training!!!) I do a ton of cardio....how 'bout you?

Mornings I do a 4 mile run 6 days a wk.
Nights I do a two mile walk with my mom unless it is raining.
I need to get my exercise bike back--I broke off the left pedal of my Airdyne. My new plans for exercising are:
- get in 30 minutes on the exercise bike keeping heart rate around 145--alternating days
- work out on the exercise bike 60 minutes at slower speed--alternating days
- get in 45-40 minutes "speed" walk, keeping heart rate around 140--alternating days
- get in 60 - 90 minute walk at slower speed--alternating days
- 12-15 minutes on heavy bag
- 7-15 minutes of abs/crunchers
- weights biceps--alternating days
- weights triceps and handgrips--alternating days
- every 4-5 days take a day off from exercising to give body a rest
I do HIIT 3 days a week, and strength training (weights, squats, etc) 2-3 days a week. On the days I do strength training, I also throw some kind of cardio activity in there. I am particulary fond of the StairMaster at the moment. :)
Walking to the subway rather than taking the bus
Muscle conditioning x 3-4
yoga x 2
elliptical x 2-3
Staying active on the weekends with my family - biking, kayaking, walking, stacking wood :-)
