Good God your breakfast buffet reminds me of the one in New Orleans. Full of every thing. That day I had a 5000 calories breakfast.

I always go for the seafood first on the buffet line.  Some shrimp and crawfish mixed in my scrambled eggs with a little tabasco is so delish!

Yup, it was two plates of shrimp, craw fish and crab legs first. Those went with a mimosa. Then a seafood omlette and an egg Benedict and a bevy of warm stuff like roast beef, and pork, dirty rice, and seasoned potatos. Those went with another mimosa.

On and on...

I don't get to see my son often, it was a good day. We were there the day before to attend a wedding. My son was the best man and we are good friends with the parents.

*** Tie a frog leg to the ceiling fan and turn it on. Wobble wobble...

I've overindulged at a few crab feeds back in the day. 

*flashback* Long, brown paper-covered tables at the local bingo hall just waiting for the pot of goodies to be poured over them.  That was some good eating.

I miss rice.

When I was growing up in Asia, a nearby rice mill sent us all kind of exotic wild rice. Those were awesome. They were often special rice that were grown just for family consumption and not for sale. The rice mill people just keep a little bit for sampling. In Asia there are so many species of rice that are heirlooms.

This is the morning that my two foster Pugs get moved into their actual rescue.  They are almost ready to leave.  Still need to get their harnesses on for travel.

My day started off not so great and then got hilarious. My boyfriend woke up with low blood sugar, so after we got that worked out I let my rabbit out of her cage. It's kind of rare I let her out before ten and this was at seven. She got so excited, she ran in circles up onto the bed, off the bed, kept going. So I played with her with a piece of paper in her face and she would jump and pounce on it and run in circles again and binky. dnrothx - thanks! It's a strange nickname I'll admit, but it came about from a picture my friend took of me while we were slightly..inebriated one night.

haha ash i thought letting your rabbit out her cage was a euphamism - i have a pink bunny that i might use when bfs sugar is low because he went 4 for 4 hahaha i had to re-read it
