All-time strangest pet names

Hear any good ones before?

I knew a very loved female pitbull named "Butt-Head", met an Australian Shepherd named "Gouda", a pair of cats named "James Woods & Matt Dillon", a pair of mutts named "Squid & True", and a Basset Hound named "Sluggo". Oh and I can't forget my childhood cat "Kablooey".

I think my cats' names are pretty strange.

• Fiona
• Bazbeaux (pronouned BAZ-BOW; means "fool" or "joker" in French)
• Snickers - not so strange
• Homework (yes, that's her REAL name)
• Momma
• Oreo
• Chevy (like the truck)

And my cousin's cats...

My friend's mom used to have a dog named Pythagoras. That used to crack me up.

Growing up my grandma had a neighbor with a basset hound named are your ready?  Lover boy

She's stand in her front yard and yell - lover boy

thank goodness they lived out in the country and grandma and one other house were the only ones around but when everyone was visiting and we'd sit on the patio everyone would crack up laughing. Image the first time it happen and gram had to tell us she was calling her dog.

My across the street neighbor (who btw is a "crazy cat lady") has a cat named Queen Elizabeth. It does match her though! she looks like that cat in those "Fancy Feast" commercials.

i used to have a rat named Booper :P

a friend of mine has a cat named Mr. Hisser. i think it's the greatest cat name ever.

My cat's name was Mosquito (RIP), and I have one named Cupcake.

I rescued Cupcake and her sister from a shelter (not an animal shelter, it was a young women's shelter and the young woman in question was neglecting the kitties and locking them in the closet, so the house mother gave them away, but I digress). I named her sister Lumpy because she had a big weird lump on her belly. She wasn't my cat though, I was just holding her until another friend could take her....and when she did, she promptly renamed the cat Lulu, I guess Lumpy wasn't sexy or cool enough for her. Hmph. Later she also had the (totally benign) lump removed.  

I had an embarassing incident when Cupcake got lost once....I had to circulate the neighborhood night after night calling "Cupcake". Nothing like a fat girl yelling for cupcakes.

I just remembered a cat named "Raspberry". I didn't think too much of it until the owner told me why she named it that.

The, uh hem, certain part of the cat just below the tail looked like a raspberry to her.

I knew a guy once who named his dog Christopher Robinson.  The dog would only respond to his full name. 

I have a goldfish named Popeye Jones, a hamster named Ziggy and a turtle named Treadway.
