Ok for all of you who work nights...
I'm super curious....I work at a restaurant from 4:30 until sometimes as late as 230 am. I soemtimes dont have time to eat a full meal during my shift, so I try to nibble throughout, and regardless if I do, I'm STARVING by the time I come home. I can burn up to 500+ cals in a busy shift. I'm wondering if it is a good idea to eat when I get home to get my cals up....and then go to sleep, or to just call it a day and be under calories and eat more the next day. What to do?
Thanks!
I eat at the end of a shift, but I have the same question. I tend to eat something that will not disrupt my sleep (which, sadly, will be 2 - 2 1/2 hours after I get off work). I'm eating salads or SMALL bowls of pasta. But I can't say what i do is right.
Sometimes it's OK totext in a restaurant.
