Alli....has anyone tried it???

Quote  |  Reply

i'm thinking of trying alli. i've been here using this site and losing weight since dec. 28th, 07. i've lost 14 lbs. i've plateaued 3 times. i usually walk at least 30 minutes or more everyday, or use my cardio glide for 30 minutes. i'll be 50 this summer and currently weigh 163 lbs. i have a bad hip...osteoarthritis, so walking much longer than that is a hit or miss. some days are better than others. i do plan on riding my bike 30 minutes a day once it gets warm here in ohio, and will increase that time throughout the summer.

has anyone here used Alli? how did you do with it? would anyone here recommend it? thanks....!

Hello Deedee!

I have been using the pills along with my diet. They are safe, and they are effective. They, like all other diet pills, are not miracle pills. But they do help. Its helps you loose more weight because it blocks out a potion of the fat you eat. I find it effective... and it makes me accoutable to what I eat. Forexample, Im sure you have heard of the side effects: Orang-ie stools, gas, and an oily discharge... i know it sound nasty. But the side effects are caused because of the fat that is not being absorved. Less side effects with less fat... so it helps you keep in mind what you are putting in your tummy. However, I recommend you read up on it, and do your own research, and determine whether it fits your life style. I like it, and so far its working fine :)

Would it be okay just to take Alli at night? I generally eat healthy during the day but a night often go out for dinner and therefore eat more than i ought to. Could i just use alli at night after a resturant dinner? hopefully then the 'nasty side effects' happen while im safely at home. How long aftre eating can the side effect occur?
