Alli / Hoodia diet pills

Quote  |  Reply

I have started exercising, walking about 30 minutes a day and doing about 30 minutes of calesthenic type exercise (lunges, squats etc).  I have been thinking about taking the Alli weight loss pill to boost my weight loss.  Has anyone tried it and does it work?  What about Hoodia?

Only if you enjoy anal leakage (Alli) or heart palpitations (hoodia).

Why do you feel you need to boost the weight loss? Have you been on a plateau for a prolonged period of time? I thought you had just started - why not give the exercise a chance to show results?

I haven't used either, but was talking to a girl at a bar a while back who said she and her friend tried Alli and if they ate even a bit of fat they would be running to the bathroom.  She said you lose weight but you might as well start wearing diapers or get used to having 'stains' in your undies / pants.  Yuck!  NOT worth it.  Anything that helps to get the weight off fast just means you're going to put it back on faster, plus some, when you stop taking it.

I've tried lots of stuff in the past...except eating better and exercising regularly.  I am now doing those things and that's enough.  I'd say forget the pills and change your lifestyle.

I have used Alli and it helped me to lose and maintain an 11lb weight loss. The one thing about the Alli is just like it cautions your stools will be lose and more frequent especially if you eat a meal with alot of fat but in the end it was true to its claim for me.

I am currently taking the new and improved Slim Quick w/hoodia and not really seeing a big difference. I do know that if I do not drink at least 8 - 16 oz of water after taking my pills it causes me to feel like some ****. I have actually went down another lb or two but that's about it.

Alli blocks your body from absorbing as much fat, but your body needs at least some fat.  A diet low in saturated fats would produce the same weigh loss without taking a medicine and dealing with nasty side effects.

Hoodia is an appetite suppressant.  Most of the hoodia that you find for a reasonable cost isn't from the actual plant that supresses your appetite.  Caffeine would produce the same effect for a whole hell of a lot cheaper.

I've looked into both of these in the past and don't see much value in them, personally.

i have taken alli and currently take it.  as long as you follow the directions there is no "anal leakage" and there is no need for "diapers".  but then again, different poeple will react differently to things... but they set you up on their website and give you personalized meal plans.  it's not just a diet pill that blocks fat... they really try to teach you the right way to eat.  and even if you do everything right with your diet, alli can help you lose more.  i love the stuff.

i think hoodia is a bunch of bologna.

HELLO!! i just became a member and   i'm reading about this diet pill, called alli!

where can i get it? btw, i really dont know how to use this site much... sorry.

but I DO WANT TO LOSE WEIGHT!BTW, MY  NAME IS MICHELLE :D

Did some body say anal leakage, that's not even the half. Without being to explicit it's greasy anal leakage. I was on ALI for about two months last year. I don't suggest that anyone who is just starting a diet to take it. The pill didn't agree with a lot of the food I took in, healthy or unhealthy and it just made for unpleasant and oily bowel movements. Good luck!!

lol I take it and havent had any accidents... YET! and I been daring enough to take it at a dinner before I had to run a karaoke show..dunno if I had skid marks or though haha - just kidding, never did :)

but yea when u gotta go. you better run coz it don't have any patience

Well...I tried SmartBurn with Hoodia. Didn't do anything for me, but I must say I'm only 14, so...

I didn't loose weight, didn't eat less, just wasted my money. I will never buy them again. I lost weight after I stopped those stupid diet pills.

But then again, I can't be sure because diet pills are not suitable for people under 18. -_-'
