alli weight reducing program pills sold at Wallgreens
Has anyone had any success using this product with their weight reducing plan?
I tried it when it first came out and wasn't impressed, honestly. You could achieve nearly the same results just following the plan without spending 40 dollars a month on the pills. It consists of counting calories as well as not going over 14 or so grams of fat per meal. If you go above that amount, you can have what they call "treatment" effects and they aren't pretty. I never ran into that issue, but I didn't see any difference at all.
i used lipo 6 for fat lose, and its gr along with training and a killer diet.
Where can I purchase the lipo 6? thanks
At 50, never in a gym until two months ago and always eating what I wanted, I have lost 2 pounds a week (and a bunch of inches) for the last 8 weeks doing it "real"...just 30 min of cardio a day and strength training. Not an expert, but I don't believe pills are the answer or there wouldn't be any fat people (like me). If you forget diets and pills and use the tools on this site to map out what you are eating and how much and adjust appropriately for YOUR BODY, exercise 5-6 days a week, it should come off. Long term there is only ONE answer...you must burn more than you take in, so you need to find that balance point and go under it either through diet, working out or hopefully, both. To me, that is the only sustainable way to do it.
I have used pills before, but honestly, I lost no more than I am now and I don't have that expense. Good luck!
Studies show that the people that combine diet and exercise lose more weight and keep it off longer than those who use "diet" pills and supplements. Alli is a good (and I will emphasize just GOOD) adjunct to your already low fat diet and exercise plan. I am not sure how much research you have done on it but the best patient to use this product on is one who has already implemented healthy lifestyle changes and are looking to add a little boost, to move your progress along. One on Alli MUST watch their fat intake because of the horrible and undesirable treatment effects that come along with eating TOO much fat. You can also expect to lose an additional 2%-5% of your body weight using it, if used correctly and consistently. Going off of it may not necessarily make you gain back the weight you lost, unless of course you going off all of your healthy habits (which should be LIFETIME healthy habits). I personally have not tried it but know some people who have. They did not necessarily say negative things about it, but were not super enthusiastic either. If you have any more questions on the mechanism of action, history of it, or treatment effects, feel free to ask.
Most of the pills now are nothing more than glorified caffiene pills with a few extra ingredients that might add up to an additional 20 calories burned per day. Since ephedra was banned they don't really pack much of a punch. Alli will work short term but as soon as you go off of it, your intake is equivalent to all of a sudden eating hundreds more calories per day without changing your diet at all.
