Almost 18 and a boob job??

Quote  |  Reply

I've been thru these forums alot and some people might know me but I'm going to be turning 18 in about 6 months and I've heard tons of suggestions to get a boob job..

You can click my pictures and see my body. I have lost a decent amount of weight and I'm a miserable A cup. People [girls, guys, family, ect.] have made comments that it would "balance me out better"

What do you guys think?

What's wrong with being an A cup? Whoever suggested that you get a boob job is rude. Besides, think about it. Those procedures cost $5,000 at the LEAST. Plus, it's SURGERY! There have many BAD boob jobs done that make them look fake..I have a lot of guy friends and they've said that they lose respect for girls that do that at our age... Not only that, once you go there you can never go back...every 10-20 years you have to put new ones in or else you'll have scars and your boobs will look deflated because your skin stretches. Wait a few years...if you still aren't satisfied, then do it. Personally, I think $5,000 is better spent on college than on boobs.

people have told you to get a boob job and you're actually CONSIDERING it? you don't seem to be offended at all. i would have slapped them. :P god, you're not even an adult yet. your boobs are going to grow more. and judging by your pictures, your boobs are in no way too small. you don't have to have huge blobs of skin falling out of your shirt to have a "balanced figure."
You have a thin physique and your chest size seems perfectly balanced with it.  I dont thing a small increase would look bad but I dont think it would look better - your current size matches your trim build.  Youve posted youve lost weight and no offense but you look like someone who's naturally thin and your chest seems very proportional.  Dont know if you understand what I mean - what do you think?

I'm hispanic and I'm pretty sure I don't think I'm naturally thin since i had to work my butt off to get here

Almost my whole life I've been grossly overweight [pressing 200lbs in middle school and around 100-150 in elementary school]

plastic surgery is for failures ^_^.    Plus all ya need is a handfull!   honest truth!
I don't know if anyone already mentioned this, but if you plan on having kids I would wait. Pregnancy can stretch the breast out, and then you would have saggy implants and have to have another surgery to correct it.

Ultimately, it is up to you whether you get breast implants. Plastic surgery is a huge commitment and you should be sure you want it. But, I would really recommend waiting a few more years.
a lot of guys like a smaller chest... along with a lot of guys find the fact a woman has had a boob job a HUGE turn off.

thank you to the guys who answered!

i honestly thought it would be all girls and i really appreciate a guy's opinion

you lost all that weight and look amazing. rather then finding a new thing your unhappy with yourself about be thrilled that you did something so amazing and look fantastic. I have a c cup and i hate my boobs. when i wear something low cut it looks completely trashy.

If you really want to do it in a few years then i mean thats your choice. but you are very young to do something iriversible. you could also develop more over the next few years. id wait it out.

good luck =)
Also, don't forget that a woman's body changes through the years. You are a A cup now but you could be a B or a C in a few years. They might just get bigger without having to go through surgery, because of hormonal changes, of your diet, etc. I was a B cup up to age 18 and then it went up and up
no.  no no no.  you're a baby.  i was a double or triple A through my teens and into my 20s.  hit an honest A in my 30s.  now i'm almost 40 and a solid B (BMI 20).

relax.  you're beautiful.  when you're grown up, you will look back and see how beautiful you are.
A lot of good points. If I had to guess I would've thought you're a B, so I'd say they are just proportionate to you because they don't look 'too small'. I also agree on waiting, I was a B until 16/17 and now I'm a C. Lastly that is a major decision and I would only ever get something like that for YOU, not because other people said you should -_-

do it.

if you want one get one.

dont let people talk you out of stuff, its your life dude.

More like people trying to talk her into it by the sounds of her first post.
I'm horrified that all these people have been telling you to get breast augmentation. How does a thing like that even come up in conversation? Don't do it because they tell you to. You're young and the scarring probably isn't pretty. I've read too many horror stories involving rotting implants to think it wise.

yeah but people are talking her out of it on here.

its her decision. if she would feel better getting a boob job then she should. if shes not sure about it then she shouldnt

Isn't she asking for an opinion?

I am in my mid 30s and have an A cup.  I have to say - I love my breasts.  I look great in any clothes, I always look thinner than my actual weight, b/c of my smaller chest and no droop!  I can choose not to wear a bra - this is great for wearing really sexy backless dresses - just a couple of pasties and I am ready to go. ;-)  Believe me, no one would ever say that I don't have a "womanly" body.  But, by the same token, with a smaller chest you can also work a more "athletic" look.

Just wanted to sing the praises of small breasts!  I think you look great in your pics, very proportionate.  Also, I don't think that the ideal hourglass has equal measurements between their chest and hips - the hips are still bigger.

Whatever you choose, good luck.  I hope you are happy with  your decision.

I think you are far too young to get breast augmentation. Wait until you are 22-23 at LEAST before you even consider getting it done, and just looking at your pictures I wouldn't even bother then. You look great!

My one suggestion, and this is years of watching "What Not To Wear" speaking, is to avoid big baggy track pants like you are wearing in 2 of your photos. They create the illusion that your butt is bigger than it actually is and that is probably why people think you are disproportionate. Aside from that you look fantastic, and you should smack anyone who disagrees in the mouth. :P

yea thats fine shes asking for an opinion and i think she should do what she wants
