*presents fruit and pet donkey to scoots*

i see no reason to change things that have been working just fine

morning jules, gh, athena, kat

*sings loudly and off key in car, shower, home, with close friends*
*dances as well, sometimes well, sometimes not so much*
heya lily!

Blech - apparently it matters which window you go to in the timmy's drive thru... this coffee is NASTY!
Thanks :)

It is my thought that we should appreciate SC for being honest with us and not punish him for it. :) SC is still the same lovable SC.
i completely and totally agree HK
*will be dancing tonight*

Since I'm not planning on doing too much work at the tournament tonight since I have to slave over the 'que tomorrow for most of the day. :)
I third the motion!
even though i think the only one punishing SC is SC!
SC - announcing status shouldn't change your behaviour... if you were comfortable before, you should still feel comfortable now, and if you're comfy inspecting, well, there's a whole lota fruit in here to inspect ;-) nothing's changed...

I love to sing when alone in the car and the shower - even have a water resistant radio in the shower.  But I won't sing in front of anyone.  My 7th grade choral teacher humilitated me and I've refused ever since.  I KNOW I can't carry a tune - seriously think I am tone deaf - but she was so mean about it.

Now dancing....I will do that anywhere, any time.  Bring it on!

Have fun today, all, and if anyone comes up with a foolproof way to catch a feral cat, please let me know.

My Scruffy, a stray I've been feeding for a couple of years now, has an open wound on a back leg. He's had this for a long time, but now, he isn't bearing any weight on the leg at all and it's stiff. He's obviously in pain.

He lets me touch him only when he is eating; he won't let me pick him up. I think if I have any chance of catching him to take to a vet, that chance is the only one I get; I think he wouldn't come back if that didn't work. I have a cat carrier, but he is too smart to be lured into it. (Yeah, I tried that once, many many months ago. Didn't see him for weeks afterwards.)

Need to get to work here; ciao for now!
Ohhhh it's THAT kind of bee. :P  Thanks for the explanation.  I will be sure to avoid the show now.  lol

*throws in her vote for SC to remain the fruit inspector.*  Good fruit inspectors are hard to come by, these days.  Gotta find one and keep 'em happy! :)

*ponders the cat dilema*

I was going to suggest only putting the food in the carrier to see if he'd get hungry enough to go in after it.  I guess perhaps not.  Catnip maybe?  My cats go nutty and then take a snooze, but don't know if that would work with him.

*thinks harder about this*

with the cat dilema I'd suggesting calling the local animal control since they're used to catching animlas that don't wanna be caught... but then you gotta get your cat back off of them...
Okay, I really am going, but have to say this:

Kallie, I CAN carry a tune; I've sung on many a stage with famous orchestras and conductors, and I'd smack your 7th grade choral teacher if I could. Sing because you *enjoy* it, and damn whoever hears you and doesn't like it! My son and my exhusband are nearly tone deaf, and I've always been happy to hear them sing or hum. Singing is a pleasure; please please please don't deny yourself that pleasure even in the presence of others! I, for one, would be delighted to hear you sing, so sing out, sister, sing out loud and long and proud!
Holy SHEBOYGAN!

I just got a HUGE Mid-year salary adjustment!
