I almost said "Screw it all" today, but instead...
I got on the treadmill and ran a mile in 13:20. I started this lifestyle change on January 6, 2009 and I could barely walk a mile in 30 minutes. Now, I just ran the fastest mile of my entire life. And, on top of that, one of my laps that I ran (.25 of the mile) I ran at a speed of 5.5mph. I have never been a runner, but today I feel like one.
Just remember: When you are ready to give it all up, give one last push; you might just surprise yourself.
GOOD FOR YOU!!! That is so awesome!!!!
I know just how you feel. After about a month and a half of eating healthier, I decided to start the C25K program. It was so encouraging to read your post! I am definitely having one of those "Screw it all" days today. Thanks for the motivation!
