alright guys and gals time for some fun!

I think things are getting too boring around here.. we need to liven things up and find out more about each other!  :)

I wanna know what everyone's favorites are.. like movie, music, books, anything.. what are you "into"?  :)

my favorite type of movie (can't pick just one) are fantasies and chick flicks... my favorite music is alternative, and i love murder mysteries for books.. :) 

edit:  i forgot to mention that my favorite all time band is pink floyd.. :)

Music - 80's!  80's!  80's!

Movies - Hugh Grant Romantic Comedies (Love Actually, Notting Hill); All time favorie - Like Water for Chocolate & The Princess Bride (me = hopeless romantic).

Books - Fiction - stuff that grabs you and brings you along for the ride or that makes you laugh out loud.   Oh yeah, and smut!  Hee hee!  I'm actually reading the new Jackie Collins right now!

Hobbies - Food.  I know, not the best choice for someone who's trying to lose weight - but I love to cook and play in the kitchen.  (last night's dinner was sweet and spicy grilled salmon, noodles romanoff & orange glazed baby carrots).

OK....I'm a classic movie watcher.  My all-time favorite movie is The Wizard of Oz, It's a Wonderful Life makes a close second.

Music - I love contemporary Christian.  It's basically all I listen to.  Plus, I sing and play keyboards for our church's praise team.

Books - I love anything written by Frank Peretti as well as the Left Behind series. (Christian authors)

Favorite Band - don't know.  I'm not certain about this because I do like oldies like The Beatles, The Mamas & Papas and The Monkees.  I also like Pink Floyd and just about every Christian band out there.  Can't just pick one.

Looks like I am in the minority here, but I am a country music gal.  Love the olides too!  I have a 16 year old daughter and we actually listen to anything and everything.  But my heart is still with country.

For movies I love Simply Irresistible with Sarah Michelle Gellar - It is heart warming love story.  Whenever I watch it I want to bake.  I also burn vanilla candles to really get the mood going too.  My daughters actually purchased it for me one year so now I can watch it whenever.

I love movies that make me forget what is going on in life.  It can be a love story, a mystery, just about anything that draws you in.

Books I tend to read Nora Roberts and any mystery out there.

Movie(s)- I like Tom Hanks and Forest Gump is my favorite, but like most of his others, even Joe vs Volcano.

Books-I like fictional stories.  My favorite series is Clan of the Cave Bear by Jean M Auel.  (I wish she'd publish the final story!)  And just because, I like Harry Potter

And for my hobby, I like to hike.  I'm planning to go with a group of people on a rim to rim hike in the Grand Canyon this fall.  (I've done it before, but at 25 pounds heavier, so I am looking forward to it again)

I like all kinds of music except Jazz!  I have everything from 50's music and country to the new Madonna CD and I blare everyone when I am driving alone. 

Movies, I like drama's, comedies and some action flicks - I love The Rock!!  And Van Diesel.  Just saw Failure to Launch and loved it!

Books - I was obsessed with Stephen Kings the Gunslinger series but I like mysteries with a supernatural twist like Kate Hooper and I like Fantasy Stories with dragons and dragon slayers, people who turn into wolves etc! 

My new hobby is going to the gym and what I eat.  I would love to take a pottery class!  I am a volunteer in my community - I organize our leagues' community social events.  I am your typical Leo - I love to play and be with people!

Oh Fun!

Movies:  Almost all kinds of movies.  Not into horror though.  Some faves-Dogma, Team America, Memento, Run Lola Run, Parenthood

Books:  My favorite author of the moment is Christopher Moore.  He wrote a book called Lamb it's a fictional account of Chirst's childhood life, as told by his pal Biff.  It's really fabulous.  I also love anything by Vonnegut, he's amazing!  Oh!  I'm reading a really crazy one right now called War Against the Weak: Eugenics and America's Campaign to create a Master Race.  It's very intense.

TV:  We don't get any channels here so it's all movies for me!

Music:  Just about everything.  Not a huge fan of country or rap, but both kinda grow on me from time to time.  Right now I'm listening to Gorillaz.  Love it!
