Hi all ~ I am also new here, just joined the Group today, altho' I've been in CC for 3 months now.
My goal in joining is to network with others like me who are in their 50's (or later?) who need to lose weight & get fit.
I am 59, as of the first...and I need to lose 74 lbs. to reach my ideal weight. I was 95 lbs. overweight when I first joined, but working out every day (except Sundays) & counting calories has been a real boon to my health. I am thrilled to have lost 21 lbs. so far, and just w/in the past week, I have discovered that I can now fit into a smaller size! So, yea! ![]()
My husband is a tremendous source of encouragement to me. I am very lucky to have him in my corner! (When I first started, he would try to "feed" me more than I wanted, lol, but has since joined me watching every bite I eat, every sip I swallow. Now he is my biggest supporter.)
Anyway, I just wanted to say "hi" to all of you & say that I am very happy to be here! I look forward to joining you all on this journey to better health...

How nice to meet you and your husband. Whenever you need support us 50's and 50+ folks are around. If you need anything at all, give a holler.
