Alternative to Kettle Chips

Quote  |  Reply

I love the crunch of kettle styke potato chips but even the light ones have too many calories per serving and it is hard to stop with just one serving. I think they are a "danger food" for me. Any ideas for an alternative crunchy snack  with less calories along with  the convenience of a bag of chips.

Have you tried kale chips?

Are you wanting chips or just crunchy?

What about cutting up some bell peppers or carrots?  I find that if I cut bell peppers and put them in snack bags at the beginning of the week then I do much better about snacking on things that are healthy.

They also make sweet potato and veggie chips that I think are good to.

Have you looked into the baked chips.  I treat myself to a bag of baked lays every now and again to get that craving served.  Hot air popcorn works really well too.

You can make your own kettle chips by thinly slicing a potato & baking it. I've seen instructions online.
