why am i always hungry this week?

This might sound like a stupid question but I gotta ask. I have been CC since 06-22 and so far it has been great I've lost 5lbs. But for some reason this week I feel hungry constantly but I do snack on healthy things(fruits and such). I just want to know if I'm always hungry bc now my metabolism is burning faster now. Again I did say my question might sound stupid I don't even know if me being hungry all the time has anything to do with my metabolism working faster. If anyone could help answer this question I would appreciate it.

well that depends on your calorie intake, activity level, and stats...its hard to tell why you're hungry without this information.

Sam thing happened to me so I just ate my maintenance caloric need for 2 days and then went back to my caloric weight loss need.

I always get really hungry the week before TOM ..

how much are you eating? stats? Maybe your body is trying to tell you something..

How many calories are you eating a day, what is your activity level like? What kind of foods are you eating? You need a balance of whole grains, fresh fruits and vegetables, lean proteins, lowfat dairy, healthy fats.

Hey me too! I totally broke my diet calorie limit this week and have been eating quite a bit. For me it is a mix of stress at work, new puppy waking me up way too early and that special time of the month. All of those things make me hungry- but really exercise is a better choice for all of them( well maybe not the puppy!).

Last night my husband made brownies- I had to go to be at 9:30 so I would stop eating them!

Im going to the gym tonight to get rid of the triggers that I have control over- that usually helps to get me back in line with the foods that actually make me feel good.

Hey, this is sorta the same for me but i have hungry days rather than weeks.  seems like whenever i start eating less / healthier / dieting that after a couple of days i seem to have a day where im constantly hungry - like no matter what i eat i dont feel full.

Could this be my bodies way of saying 'hey, iv noticed this change has lasted a little while now, give me some more food please'?!

Wierd thing is after exercise im completely the opposite, seem to lose appetite and not feel like eating very much at all.
