Hello.

Im a 26yrs old mom who needs to lose 45lbs!!! I never had a weight problem until  I had my baby boy. He is 1 and a half yrs old and I'm still at the weight I was after having him.  I've tried diets and working out and nothing helps.Does anyone one have advice on how to curb my appetite?? I'm always hungry!!!!

I hear ya, dreap.  I'm not sure if I'm always hungry or if I just think about food all the time.  Either way, it sucks.  I think I just have an addictive personality, though.  I quit smoking April 14 (woo hoo) and started munching my way to 200 pounds.  Now I have to deal w/ food withdrawl! It's always something.  I've been chugging water to help curb my appetite.  It seems to work.  Oh and gum, I've been using gum a lot.  Water and gum together.  Plus I'm eating little things throughout the day like hard boiled eggs and apples w/ cheese or peanut butter.  I bought some natural Jiff the other day and it is good as can be!  A tablespoon of pb and some apple slices at about 10:30 am seems to hold me over until lunch.  So little snacks like that are really saving my butt! I try to burn incense also.  I think if my senses are occupied, my hunger will fade.  Sounds good in theory!!

Peace and Love to you, dreap.

I am not sure if you are a dt pop consumer but I would quit the pop.  The sweetner makes your appetite increase.  I rarely ever drink pop anymore.  Water or Milk or the occasional drink for me.  This will definitely help.

I agree. Not only that, but pop has a looot of calories. Replacing it with unsweetened tea and water (0 cal) will allow you to eat more.

Thanks, I was drinking alot of sodas and I've cut back!!! I've started drinking lots of water and teas. Sometimes I feel like I need caffeine fix and I get so angry with myself because I want to lose weight sooo bad but I can never fight my cravings!!!
