How thick are your ankles? Mine are 9 inches around and I always seem to feel like I have "kankles". Although I'm told I do not.
Mine are thin and look espeically small because I am 5'9 and they are 8 inches around. My calves and ankles never get fatter. I can almost join my fingers around my ankles.
I am part of the cankle club... my ankles are 9 inches. I think it's genetic because my mom has them, too. I tend to stick with pants over skirts/dresses. And I disagree with the heels only rule. Some heels look awful because you have the stark contrast of the skinny, skinny heel against my huge cankle.
On the plus side, if I twist my ankle, I feel no pain. And I can ice skate for hours and not get tired ankles.
I've always wondered if there was a link between cankles and height and shoe size. I feel like most people with cankles are short with long feet. I'm 5'3" and I wear a size 8 shoe.
My wrists are 5" and my ankles are 9", I'm 5'3" and 106lbs. But my ankles aren't fat, they are really boney, but for some reason they're big. But there's no fat on them, I walk and there's bones visibly showing with every step between my ankle and foot, and my ankle bones are showing always. No one thinks I have big ankles, but eh.
