Today marks 1 month at this site. Today marks one month into my journey.
I have lost 10.6 lbs. I have brought my calories from 3000+ a day down to 2200-2500 a day.
I have started excersizing. I am up to 24 minutes on the treadmill going 1.7 mph. I also mowed the lawn yesterday for two hours, something I never would have dreamed of doing before.
I can feel it. I'm getting there. It's closer. I know that the way I'm changing is for the better. I'm slowly loosing weight, and re-learning how to eat. Re-learning how to think about food.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart, my wonderful friends. It's because of your support that I've perserveared so long. 1 month is a milestone.

I am proud of you.....I don't call what you write.."a whine". You are just writing down frustrations that many of us feel. This help us all to move forward on this journey....because you help us to realize more and more that we are not alone...but that we really do have a support system!
This is a difficult journey that we are all on......and knowing that we can share our feelings with one another.....helps us to cope doing the good...the bad....and ugly times of this journey.

Want to know something cool? The last week I've been focusing on eating less than 2200 calories each day. (Mon-Fri) and 3 of those 5 days I hit it, coming in at 2100 ish. The highest amount of calories I ate was on the weekend and even then it was 2601. (Which to some might seem like a lot, but to me, it's LOW!!!
So being the nut that I am, I added all the daily calorie totals together, dived by 7 (have to include the weekend) and the total average amount of calories I ate a day?
2299!!!!!
This week my goal is 100% under 2200 so that next week I can bring it down to 2000. Wish me luck!
