So Annoyed!
Im so annoyed with all these STUPID posts started by stupid people "...I'm only eating 300 calories a day...why am I still fat?.." C'mon people read and if your on CC use the wonderful tools provided, and you will soon figure out why your not losing and maybe gaining. Your starving your poor bodies, give it what it need no more no less and you will see results...Gawd!
This is supposto be a site to help people and all your doing is triggering people who struggle with this daily. And I dont care if some of you disagree with me!

Agreed. I think a lot of them come here to find people who will tell them that, yes, it's just fine that you are completely starving your body and that all you eat are 2 carrot sticks and 5 cheerios a day. Don't worry, you'll lose weight soon!
It drives me crazy, and it completely undermines the efforts of many cc'ers who struggle to stay within their own healthy calorie limits each and every day!
I understand and agree with you all completely. That it is UNHEALTHY to eat so few calories. If you do so consistantly, you could be considered anorexic. Anorexia has proven to be effective in weight loss. So while it is EXTREMELY UNHEALTHY I find it hard to believe that it will make you put on lbs.

i really think if its so annoying then just IGNORE the posts and let people with a little more time/patience/whatever answer them. The people starting these posts aren't well educated about nutrition and safe weight loss, THATS WHY THEY'RE HERE!
just ignore them, because these 'im so annoyed blah blah blah' posts are just as irritating to the rest of us.
My advice to all new members:
1. Read, Know and LOVE the resources on CC before posting! So many of your questions (ie. How to calculate your RMR, how much to eat in order to reach your goal, etc) will be answered if you simply take the time to do your research.
2. BELIEVE US when we tell you that you're eating too little! Many people here have had great success with patience, healthy foods, and portion control. We recommend it because it works!!
I know for me when I first started I felt like I was eating all the time but only reaching 1100 cal and I came to get ideas for foods to up my cals and ppl jumped on me.I was only trying to get help but a couple ppl were annoyed by my post and chewed me out.others were very helpful and gave me some healthy food choices so I was able to raise my calories to a healthy level.with that being said I'd just ignore the posts like that because it could be someone really needing advice and trying to learn but they don't know how or what to eat.so if you can't help just leave the post and ignore it imo
Its not that I think we shouldnt be helping them its that they already know, they even say it in there post yet still feel the need to ask/question when the answers are right in front of them.

" ...time/patience/whatever"...umm I/we have so many time so if they wanna know if starving them selfs is ok then they can type in starvation in the forums and they will find millions of post on it.
have you been to the young calorie count forum? im 20 years old and i had to start my own new group because 99% of the people on there are starving, underweight, or straight up ignoring the idea the fact that you have to eat at least a certain number of calories. its definately annoying. a lot of people just keep asking questions until someone tells them what they want to hear, regardless of the validity of that answer.
If a post is in violation of the guidelines, then please use the "report violation" feature which will bring it to the attention of the moderators. Feel free to just continue on your way after that if you have nothing to contribute. Posts that we have to review due to sarcasm/insults, being off topic, or other violations of the guidelines are time consuming and require more time to sort out.
